Research shows that parent and community involvement is an important factor in positive youth development. Youth who have their parents and community involved in their school, after school, and daily lives do better in school, are less likely to engage in risky behaviors and become more successful adults. Utopia Youth Center would like for all parents and community members to volunteer throughout the year. There are many ways for you to become involved in Utopia Youth Center activities. We encourage you to serve on the Board of Directors, assist in day activities in all classrooms, lead a session workshop in a classroom (must have workshop curriculum approved by Leader and Director), help with fundraising efforts or chaperone/carpool during field trips. You also have the opportunity to tutor in a particular subject or act as a mentor for job shadowing experiences. To sign up as a volunteer please fill out the application below.
